All participants in GRADS productions are expected to become members. Members can vote at the AGM and can join the Committee. Members are alerted to important decisions made by the Committee. Annual membership fees help support GRADS endeavours.

Share the Love! If you see rehearsal photos or production details on Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok or elsewhere, please share the love around. There is nothing better than playing to packed houses when you’ve work so hard on creating the best performance experiences.

On stage and Off

Whether you have existing training and experience or are looking to learn and acquire new skills and knowledge. a small army of volunteers is required to mount each production and there is SO MUCH to do on and off stage to get a show up and running.

Costumes - wardrobe, costume design, being a dresser side stage

Lighting - designing, rigging and operating

Programme - gathering information, layout and printing

Props - designing, building, sourcing and being in charge during a run

Publicity - Social media, poster distribution, artwork

Sets - designing, building, painting, moving “trucks” on stage, set changes during a show.

Sound - design, composition, running the sound board or program during performance.

Stage managing - prompting, running the show during performance.

Ushering - GRADS always need ushers at shows and you get to see the show free of charge.

GRADS Committee

The GRADS committee meets monthly online. Meetings are lively!

The committee makes decisions about future shows and supports these productions.

As a committee member, you hear it all first!

Committee members are appointed for a year at the GRADS AGM in late March each year.
